Meet Our Team
Dana Blozis

on the MS Express team since August 2005, Dana serves as the foundation’s
marketing director and Board Secretary, performing a variety of marketing,
publicity, administrative and fundraising roles. With a bachelor’s
degree in business administration, Dana has more than 10 years of
nonprofit experience. In addition to working for The Spirit of Hope
Foundation, she owns Virtually

the Seattle area with her partner Jim and daughter Brooke.
Jerry Caldwell
Jerry Caldwell, aka Binky the Clown, has been a long time friend
of Carlo and Angela Magno. Recently retired, he joined the MS Express
in August 2006 to help Carlo finish the remainder of the trip. Internationally
known, Binky is well known for his childlike heart, and he tells us
that he's been a clown his entire life, but he's only been doing it
in make-up for the last 11 years. Anxious to see the rest of the country,
Binky is enthusiastic about making the trip with Carlo. "He's
willing to 'clown around' from coast to coast," Carlo said. "Binky
for President!"
Dan Purdy
Dan
Purdy joined the MS Express team in the fall of 2005 as a marketing
consultant. With a degree in marketing from Western Washington University,
Dan is currently pursuing his MBA at WWU. Dan lives in Bellingham,
Washington with his wife Rhonda and their two children Ariel and Jon.

with Multiple Sclerosis at age 17 and having four uncles and several
cousins with MS, Sharon Mason is a trained peer counselor and an MS
Ambassador for the National MS Society. In addition to serving as
a volunteer and fundraiser for The Spirit of Hope Foundation, Sharon
is one of the team’s biggest cheerleaders. She hopes to eradicate
MS, ensuring that some day MS only stands for Mississippi. Sharon
resides in Mt. Vernon, Washington.

15 years ago. Ginger, another amazing supporter of The Spirit

Jeff has known Carlo for more than 10 years, meeting when Jeff was
a part-time intern and Carlo was an advertising rep. After graduating
from WSU with a degree in broadcasting, Jeff went into broadcasting
full-time. He is a salesman and announcer for KBRC in Mt. Vernon,
Washington.
